Characteristics of Cap Rocks and Metallogenic Condition Analysis of Sandstone-type Uranium in Niuquanhu Area, Santanghu Basin, Xinjiang

摘要: 三塘湖盆地已开展过不同小比例尺铀矿评价工作,但盆地内部分重点地区仍缺乏具体研究及精细解剖。笔者通过对三塘湖盆地牛圈湖地区盖层地层进行对比研究,初步厘定了该地区盖层地层的沉积序列及典型特征。从铀源、水文地质、岩性岩相、后生蚀变、古气候、层间氧化带前锋线、煤田异常孔及油气等不同角度,初步分析和总结了三塘湖盆地牛圈湖地区铀成矿条件。研究认为,该地区铀成矿条件较好,有形成层间氧化带砂岩型铀矿的潜力,应进一步在该地区开展铀矿找矿工作,找矿靶区在牛圈湖北侧一带。Abstract: Uraniumore have been evaluated at different microscale in Santanghu Basin, but there is still a lack of specific research and detailed analysis in some key areas of the basin. Based on the comparative study of the caprocks in the Niuquanhu area of Santanghu Basin, the sedimentary succession and typical characteristic of the caprocks in this area are preliminarily determined. We preliminarily summarize and analyze the uranium metallogenic conditions in Niuquanhu area of Santanghu basin from the different perspectives of geological conditions such as uranium source, hydrogeololgy, lithology and lithofacies, posterior erosion, paleoclimate, front of interlayer oxidized zone, abnormal pore of coalfield, oil gas and so on. It is believed that the uranium mineralization conditions in this area are good and there is potential to form interlayer oxidation zone sandstone-type uranium deposits. Further uranium prospecting work should be carried out in the area, target area especially in the northern of Niuquanhu area.
