Preparation of Barite/Titanium Dioxide Composite Powder by Hydrolysis of Titanium Oxysulfate

摘要:
以重晶石微粉(化学成分BaSO4)为基体,以硫酸氧钛为钛源,采用水解法制备重晶石/二氧化钛复合颜料粉体。结果表明:所制备的前驱体随着煅烧温度的提高,包覆层外层的二氧化钛由锐钛矿型向金红石型转化,硫酸钡中的SO42−对其接触的锐钛矿型二氧化钛向金红石型二氧化钛转化具有抑制作用;复合粉形成核壳结构,二氧化钛理论含量占复合粉质量为50%的重晶石/二氧化钛复合粉样品的蓝光白度达到94.70%,遮盖力为18.65 g/m2,吸油值为39.59 g/100 g,具有较好的颜料性能。
Abstract:Barite/titanium dioxide composite pigment powder was prepared by hydrolysis with barite powder (chemical composition BaSO4) as matrix and titanium oxysulfate as titanium source. The results showed that with the increase of calcination temperature of the prepared precursor, the titanium dioxide in the outer layer of the coating was transformed from anatase to rutile, and SO42− in barium sulfate inhibited the transformation of anatase titanium dioxide to rutile titanium dioxide; The composite powder forms a core-shell structure. The barite / titanium dioxide composite powder sample with theoretical titanium dioxide content accounting for 50% of the mass of the composite powder has a blue whiteness of 94.70%, a hiding power of 18.65 g/m2, and an oil absorption value of 39.59 g/100 g, which has good pigment properties.
