Abstract: On the basis of field geological work in Songmugao iron deposit, Fuxin, Liaoning Province, with the comprehensive analysis and research on geology and geophysics, this paper summarizes the geological min- eral features of the deposit, discusses the relationship of iron deposit, strata, structure, magmatic rocks and metamorphism to study on the direction of prospecting.
