Abstract: The paper introduces the application field and engineering characteristics of super large diameter borehole drill-ing and elaborates the advantages and disadvantages of different construction methods.By the analysis on field case, the e-quipment configuration, technical process and control measures for key processes of several drilling methods are demonstra-ted systematically and some attentions in the construction and operation are summed up.
