LA-ICP-MS Zircon U-Pb dating of Togrog granite complex in Gobi-Altay area, Mongolia

摘要: 蒙古戈壁阿尔泰地区Togrog花岗杂岩体主要由花岗闪长岩和二长花岗岩组成。本文报道了Togrog花岗杂岩LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb年龄为315.2~300.5 Ma,属于晚石炭世,形成于板块碰撞后伸展环境,反映了南戈壁-阿尔泰构造带华力西期典型的中-酸性岩浆活动特征。Abstract: The Togrog granite complex in Gobi-Altay area of Mongolia is mainly composed of granodiorite and diorite.This paper reports that the zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb ages of the Togrog granite complex range from 315.2 Ma to 300.5 Ma, belonging to the Late Carboniferous period.The Togrog granite complex is formed in an extensional environment after plate collision, displaying typical characteristics of intermediate acidic magma during the Variscan movement in Gobi-Altay area, Mongolia.
